Overview
Zinsser AllCoat Satin is a solvent-based, satin finish paint ideal for use on exterior surfaces including uPVC wood, metal, masonry and plastic, concrete, and cladding. It offers supreme protection and excellent resistance to peeling, blistering, or flaking for up to 15 years before first maintenance. The tough finish forms a vapor-permeable layer that is water and weather-resistant and low-maintenance. This self-priming paint will ensure that any exterior looks bright and beautiful for years.

Tinted Colour Information
Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Zinsser tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.Area | Exterior |

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, sound, and free from any dust or possible contaminates that may interfere with adhesion.

Remove any loose or peeling paint and sand the edges of any remaining paint until smooth
- Remove any mould or mildew with a suitable fungicidal wash
- Timber at risk of decay or insect rot should be treated with a
New Concrete & Masonry
- Must be allowed to cure for at least 30 days before painting
Previously Painted Surfaces
- Very hard or glossy surfaces should be abraded and degreased before applying two coats
New or Bare Wood
- Spot prime any knots or sap streaks with
- Fill any nail holes or gouges
Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
Application
Before applying we always recommend to test a small area of the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Shake well before and during application
- Apply using a synthetic brush, roller or sprayer (For airless spraying, use a 0.13 - 0.017 tip and high-medium 1800 - 2400 PSI pressure)
- Only apply when temperatures are between 5°-32°C and avoid painting in direct sunlight
- Apply the first coat and allow to dry for approximatley 3 hours, please note drying times will be extended in cooler temperatures
- Apply a second coat
- Allow to dry for 3 hours, full cure will take 7 days
- Normal application is 2 coats, however an additional coat should be applied to areas of high exposure such as sills and fascia boards
Note: Strong colours may require extra coats or a primer to achieve full strength and opacity we recommend using tinted to match the top coat. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
